En 2013, il annonce la sortie de son deuxième qui sortira deux ans après avec pour intitulé The Baddest.. Cependant les singles de promotion tels que « Aye », « Skelewu » le lance encore plus loin dans la musique. Le titre « Skelewu » a culminé au numéro 1 sur les 100 tableaux de Afribiz. Sa danse fait un carton et est adoptée dans les chorégraphies de plusieurs autres artistes.
En Juillet 2014 , Davido déclaré au journal The New Age qu’il prévoit de collaborer avec des rappeurs américains Rick Ross et Meek Mill. Et en Juin 2015, il sort Fans Mi avec Meek Mill.
